As we reflect on 2020, we are so proud of the resilience of human service workers through an unprecedented and difficult year! Workers continued to take care of Massachusetts’ most vulnerable residents no matter the obstacles. In spite of the pandemic, we hosted a successful Reverse Rally with elected officials and legislators, held the Broadcast Your Love of Human Services photo contest and unveiled our new lawn signs and Essential Workers campaign. We had quite the year in large part due to your hard work and dedication!
There is so much to look forward to in 2021! The Governor will release his House 2 budget in January, and we have some exciting opportunities for advocacy coming up regarding our loan repayment and fair pay for comparable work bills. The start of a new legislative session gives us another chance to mobilize The Caring Force to fight for better wages and working conditions. Stay tuned for some exciting announcements and updates in the near future.
