I am excited to share information about the Providers’ Council’s three one-time scholarships for Council member staff who are pursuing higher education at the graduate level for 2017-2018 academic year, and hope you’ll share it with your colleagues. Applications are available now and due by Friday, June 16th!
The Graduate Leadership Scholarship
For the fourth straight year, the Providers’ Council is offering a $10,000 Graduate Leadership Scholarship. The scholarship promotes the Council’s ongoing objective of developing the sector’s leadership and workforce.
Created to support the promotion and development of the human services sector’s workforce, this scholarship is a one-time award of $10,000 for a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program. Most
accredited master’s programs are eligible, provided the applicant demonstrates in their personal statement how the program is clearly related to their future contributions to the human services sector.

Providers’ Council Master of Public Administration Scholarships in partnership with
Suffolk University and Clark University
Additionally, the Providers’ Council, in partnership with Suffolk University and Clark University, recently announced the Master of Public Administration Scholarship. This scholarship is based on leadership and merit, as well as need.
These are two, one-time awards of $4,000 each and will be awarded to a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled the MPA program at Suffolk University or Clark University. If approved and selected by the Council’s Scholarship Committee, there will be one recipient from each school. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed the Council’s Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management Program. More details and an application can be found here!
