The Caring Force Blog #CaringForceRally: One Week To Go!

| Caroline O'Neill

We’re excited to see you this coming Wednesday, May 22 in the Great Hall (2nd Floor, middle of the State House)! You’re welcome to share the RSVP link with others.

  • Timeline: Come at 10 am for check-in, refreshments, and networking. Our speaking program will begin at 10:30 am. Legislative visits will begin around 11:15 am. View the full agenda here.
  • Security: The State House has two entrances to use; the General Hooker entrance is on Beacon Street (across from Park Street). The Ashburton Park Entrance is on Bowdoin Street (across from Ashburton Place) and is the accessible entrance for the State House. You will go through security and metal detectors at each entrance. Since The Caring Force rally attracts a lot of attendees, lines may be long, so please consider getting to the State House on the early side.
  • Office visits: We encourage everyone to visit their legislators. Contact offices in advance or drop in that day. Learn who your legislators are and where their offices are located at this link.
  • MaterialsWe will provide a leave behind letter and a sheet of our budget requests and legislative priorities. If you print, bring and fill out two copies of the leave behind letter in advance – one for your senator and one for your representative – this will help you save time on Rally Day!

We put together a ten minute “Get Ready to Rally” informational video together along with shareable slides.
