The Providers’ Council is turning 50 in 2025! In celebration of this milestone, the Council will be running a series of Throwback Thursday posts throughout the year commemorating some of the Council’s most important milestones in its first 50 years. This week, the Council is proud to spotlight its job board, Jobs with Heart, in 2007.
The portal serves as a hub for human services job postings from across the Commonwealth. Members can post open positions through the online portal, and prospective employees have easy access to not only those opportunities, but career planning guides and resume review tools. In 2024, the Council tallied over 850,000 job exposures and over 2,000 jobs posted.
The portal was launched in 2007 as part of the Council’s new website rollout. While the Council had previously had a job bank to help providers connect with prospective employees, the start of the online portal extended providers’ reach.
