Early in September, the Council hired both a Public Policy and Advocacy Coordinator and a Communications and Media Coordinator. With these two new additions to the team, the Council is now at full staff!
The Council welcomes Isabella A. Lee as the new Public Policy and Advocacy Coordinator. Lee will play a key role in advancing the Council’s public policy initiatives and managing its grassroots advocacy arm, The Caring Force. She will help Council members understand policy issues at the state, municipal, and federal levels, lead The Caring Force’s efforts, and drive voting and research initiatives that support the Council’s mission.
Lee is a Chilean-American from Greensboro, North Carolina. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs, concentrating in Human Rights Policy, from Columbia University and a BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
