This month, the Council announced an expanded workshop selection for its 50th Annual Convention and Expo: 50 Years Together: Celebrating Today, Shaping Tomorrow, shared the Council’s new partnership with Venteur and USI and highlighted Dr. Kiame Mahaniah’s appointment to EOHHS secretary. Additionally, the sixth installment of the 50 Years of Impact series was released, focusing on the start of the Council’s Academy for Learning and Exchange (ALEX).
In this edition, the View from the Hill section featured Congressman Seth Moulton, who highlights the importance of investing in the human services sector amid federal cuts to several programs including SNAP and Medicaid.
