The Providers’ Council has partnered with the Human Services Forum to host the University Panel event for members to discuss how human service organizations can meet and recruit students for internships and careers. University Panel is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 at Smith College in Northampton from 10 a.m. to noon.
It is an opportunity to meet staff from Western Massachusetts colleges and universities with social work and public service programs. Participants can network and learn about the institutions’ internship opportunities and career placement services. Register online here.
During this members-only event, representatives from Elms College, Smith College, Springfield College School of Social Work, University Without Walls at UMass Amherst and Westfield State University will provide an inside look at their career resources for students as well as their schools’ internship/co-op programs to help you understand how to reach their talented students. There will also be time for questions.
Space is limited, so register today! Questions about University Panel may be emailed to Christina Broughton at christina@providers.org.
