In the October edition of The Provider, The Council featured an editorial from the NEEDS Center about the importance of voter registration, and how they used CareVote to empower their community. This is just one example of how the Council’s CareVote initiative has helped promote nonpartisan voter engagement for more than 20 years and offers an excellent opportunity to help your team become engaged in the democratic process.
As the country is coming up on election season, the Council, The Caring Force and CareVote – the Council’s nonpartisan voter engagement initiative – are organizing voter registration tables across the state and encouraging Council members to participate.
These tables provide a convenient way for employees, program participants and community members to register to vote, update their registration details and obtain valuable information about voting procedures and deadlines.
