The Providers’ Council will host the second session of its three-part virtual speaker series about recruitment and retention in the human services sector on Thursday, July 28.
Guest speakers will explore a variety of strategies on strengthening today’s workforce, and will cover how to tap into diverse applicant pools, maximize your staff’s strengths and build inclusive work environments. Sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Session II, led by John Howard of the Society for Human Resources Management, will focus on learning from the data, leveraging your strengths and making small changes to find the best talent. Specifically, participants will:
- Explore pre- and post-pandemic data on retention and recruiting
- Identify and explore the main drivers and impact of retention and recruiting problems
- Examine targeted interventions and learn from their peers
