The Providers’ Council announced today that Governor Charlie Baker will deliver a special greeting to attendees at our 46th Annual Convention & Expo, Essential: Then, Now and Always on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
Governor Baker is a champion for human services, dating back to when he served as Undersecretary of Health and Human Services in 1991. His administration has worked to fully implement Chapter 257 of the Acts of 2008, a landmark rate-setting law that The Collaborative worked to pass more than a decade ago. He has used public private partnerships to spur economic development, reformed the state’s regulatory environment, and delivered critical tax relief by doubling the Earned Income Tax Credit.
The Providers’ Council is thrilled to welcome him to our 46th Annual Convention & Expo, Essential: Then, Now and Always, and we look forward to hearing from him during the three-day-long celebration of the human services sector.
