News Burnout expert Cait Donovan to keynote Providers’ Council’s 50th Annual Convention & Expo

The Providers’ Council is excited to announce that burnout expert and host of “Fried: The Burnout Podcast,” Cait Donovan, will be our keynote speaker for the 50th Annual Convention: 50 Years Together, Celebrating Today, Shaping Tomorrow, which will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston.

Donovan is an international speaker and author of The Bouncebackability Factor, which examines the true causes of burnout and how to recover.

Donovan’s career has been anything but linear — shaped in large part by experiences with burnout. Throughout her journey, Donovan has explored how burnout can negatively impact a person’s life, but healing from it can bring a wealth of positivity to not just that person, but everyone they touch. This philosophy is why she feels it is so important for human services workers to understand the nature of burnout.

Donovan will discuss strategies to identify burnout, its root causes and how people can begin to overcome it.

In addition to delivering the keynote address, Donovan will also host two workshops on burnout during the convention to allow attendees to have a more in-depth exploration of the topic with her.
