Whatever your role, effective written communication is essential to performing your job well and to position yourself for future advancement. Participants will learn how to better understand their audience, and how to style and format their writing based on who is reading and why. This workshop will focus on effective writing in the helping professions.

This training takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14th in Dorchester at WORK Inc.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
In this workshop you will discuss:

  • The perils of email and texting, and how to keep it professional;
  • Memos and other office communications;
  • Case Notes, incident reports, shift notes and more.
