Program Description
The Leadership Initiative (TLI) is a cross-agency mentoring program for Providers’ Council organizations, designed to support career growth in the human services sector. The Leadership Initiative (TLI) offers a framework for growth through mentor and mentee relationships and is tailored toward individuals looking to advance their career in the sector and those willing to share knowledge from their experience.
Timeframe
The Leadership Initiative will run from April 2025 to April 2026. The deadline to apply is March 25, 2025.
Who are the mentees?
Mentees are Providers’ Council member employees who:
- Have been working in the human services sector for at least 2 years;
- Are aspiring or current leaders eager to advance and remain in the human services field;
- Can meet the time commitment of the program; and
- Are willing to listen, learn, grow, through partnership with a mentor.
Who are the mentors?
Mentors are Providers’ Council member employees who:
- Are individuals with a wealth of experience in the human services sector, including middle to upper-level supervisory roles;
- Have served a minimum of 2 years leading staff;
- Can meet the time commitment of the program; and
- Are passionate about supporting emerging leaders to accomplish their professional development goals.
