With 2025 fast approaching, the Providers’ Council is reminding its members to renew their memberships for the new year in order for them to continue receiving the ample benefits that the Council provides.
The Council thanks all its members for their continued support of its efforts to advance the interests of the human services sector and providers through advocacy, education, and engagement of diverse stakeholders for collective impact over the last 50 years. The Council looks forward to continuing to work on behalf of its members in 2025 and beyond.

In 2024, with the support of its members, the Council was able to:
- Host a panel discussion on career pathways for BIPOC and Foreign-Born Staff at its Annual Membership & Business Meeting in April with human services leaders, EOLWD Secretary Lauren Jones and African Bridge Network founder Emmanuel Owusu;
- Hold major events, including its 49th Annual Convention & Expo, Envision the Possibilities, with more than 1,100 attendees at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston in October;
- Secure a record $390 million in funding in the Chapter 257 Reserve and language for a study on the wage disparity between community-based human services workers and those at state-operated programs who do similar work;
- Grow Providers’ eAcademy® to more than 50,000 learners working at 102 Providers’ Council member organizations;
- Convene six rallies across Massachusetts with 1,500 Caring Force members, including its State House rally in May and five regional rallies around the state;
- Testify on Beacon Hill in support of its legislation to ensure livable wages and create a human services loan repayment program for workers;
- Award $25,000 in scholarships to human service professionals at Providers’ Council member organizations who are pursuing college degrees, a 25% increase over previous years;
- Organize our CareVote initiative in partnership with its members to promote nonpartisan voter registration;
- Graduate more than 50 students from its year-long Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management in partnership with Suffolk University;
- Host nearly 40 webinars and trainings, as well as its HR, DEIB and Executive roundtables;
- Engage in a strategic planning process to help create a roadmap to better serve its members and the sector over the next 3 years;
- Provide group purchasing opportunities through its most widely used member benefit, Delta Dental insurance, which includes a 3-year rate hold and other partnerships with USI, Enterprise, Interior Resources and UTMC; and
- Energize and build enthusiasm for the Council’s 50th anniversary and dedicate itself to best serving its members in 2025 and beyond.
