We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Western MA Caring Force Rally, and we want you to be a part of this important event! On Tuesday, September 17th, we invite you, your staff, and the people you serve to join us at Scanlon Hall at Westfield State University from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the program kicking off at 10:00 AM. This event is sponsored by 18 Degrees, BFAIR, Gándara Center, MHA, and Viability.
As we gather to celebrate Direct Support Professional Week, this rally will shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of the human services sector. Together, we will emphasize the crucial need for continued funding to support these essential services. A light breakfast will be provided as we unite in our shared commitment to those who provide direct support and care.
This rally offers a unique opportunity to highlight the dedication and impact of our direct service providers. Legislators will be in attendance, giving us the chance to ensure they leave with a deeper understanding of the critical challenges we face and the resolve to advocate for our sector at the State House.
Your presence would greatly amplify our collective voice as we advocate for the future of human services in Western Massachusetts. We would be honored to have you join us in this powerful demonstration of unity and purpose.
To attend, please register through this link. We also encourage you to share this invitation with your staff, persons served, and community members. Let’s fill the room with human services workers and those they support, showing legislators the strength and importance of our workforce. You can view the rally flyer here.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you there!
Together, let’s make a difference.
