The Providers’ Council would like to wish all its members a Happy Juneteenth!
Juneteenth commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States – on June 19, 1865, Major General Gordon Granger ordered the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas at the end of the American Civil War.
The Council office will be closed today in recognition of the holiday.
