Governor Maura Healey could not attend the Providers’ Council’s 48th Annual Convention & Expo: Advocate | Act | Achieve today, but sent a video message to address the nearly 1,200 people with ties to the community-based human services sector who attended the event.
Healey congratulated the winners of the Peer Provider Awards and the Awards of Excellence and thanked the human services workers in attendance for all the hard work that they do caring for the most vulnerable Massachusetts residents. In addition, she recognized Council President and CEO Michael Weekes for being “a steady voice for providers on Beacon Hill” for 25 years.
