Bites by BFAIR is run by students in Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS). The Pre-ETS program is intended to support students in developing the skills needed to obtain and maintain employment in the community. A key aspect of the program is work-based learning, which allows students to develop specific job-related skills in a supported environment through a paid internship. During their internship at Bites by BFAIR, students learn various aspects of the food service industry including safe food handling, customer service, point of sale, inventory management, marketing, and more.
Since 2016 BFAIR has been serving the community with quick snacks for their day at Windsor Lake. Check out Bites by BFAIR in the upper parking lot of Windsor Lake, at the Intersection of Bradley Street and Kemp Avenue.
