Happy Holidays from all of us at The Caring Force!
As we reflect on 2019, we are proud of what we were able to accomplish together! We hosted a successful rally at the State House with about 500 attendees, held a record setting Broadcast Your Love of Human Services contest and had our priority legislation get reported favorably out of a legislative committee. We had quite the year in large part due to your hard work and dedication!
As enjoyable it is to reminisce about the past year, my favorite part of the season is looking forward to the New Year and what it will bring. There is so much to look forward to in 2020! The Governor will release his House 2 budget in January; our annual Caring Force rally is around the corner on April 16th; and we have some exciting opportunities for advocacy coming up regarding our loan repayment and fair pay for comparable work bills. Plus, we’re getting close to signing up our 30,000th Caring Force member!
