In this training, attendees will explore the concept of “Managing Up,” or how to have a healthy, positive and productive working relationship with their supervisor. Participants will review current research as well as hear from their peers on ways to strengthen this important relationship and address issues and conflicts they may be experiencing. The goal of this training is to build stronger working relationships that will strengthen the programs serving your clients and consumers.

This training takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18th in Sturbridge at Venture Community Services.

In this session you will:

• Identify ways to change work behavior to best meet the needs of your supervisor;
• State the needs you have of your supervisor; and
• Discuss factors that prevent a supervisor from being effective.
