You hire talent to meet your business needs, to help the people you serve. You do your best to attract and pick the right people, and then what? Every new hire needs training and some type of professional development. From day one, each new team member brings their unique strengths and skills. In this workshop we’ll focus on the role of the manager in developing the talent you bring on. You’ll help the organization keep people longer, increase engagement and see productivity go up if you develop people around their strengths and help them maximize what they bring to the table.
This training takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12 in Peabody.
In this session you will:
- Define the role of the manager in developing talent;
- Learn about different approaches, emerging trends and best practices in talent development; and
- Explore tools and practices to add to programmatic, team or individually focused efforts.
