DESCRIPTION:Dates and Times: September 29 and October 6; 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nLocation:\n– Session I: Providers’ Council Training Center (100 Crossing Blvd.\, Suite 100\, Framingham\, MA 01702)\n– Session II: Online via Zoom\nAttendance at both sessions is mandatory for a certificate of completion. \nIntended Audience: New and Upcoming Supervisors and Managers \nLearning Track: Workforce Development & Staff Engagement \nStrong leaders take initiative\, think strategically\, empower others and set and carry out a vision. The supervisor\, in particular\, plays a key role in the success of any organization. Attendees will explore and define many of the competencies required of those who serve in the role of supervisor. This training is for current and newly promoted supervisors but is also helpful to those considering stepping up to a supervisory position. \nThis is a two-day\, hybrid training. Both sessions will be from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nRegister Here! \n  \nIn this training\, participants will: \n· Learn what skills are required of today’s leaders; \n· Learn how leadership is different from management; \n· Practice the core skills needed for new supervisors; and \n· Understand how to increase staff engagement and competence. \n  \nPresented by: \nAbout Jim Ognibene\, M.Ed: \nJim is a People Enabler\, Workshop Leader\, Career Coach\, Facilitator\, Learning Catalyst\, and Consultant. His passion is helping both individuals and organizations set and reach personal and professional goals. Jim has been deeply immersed in the field of Organizational and Talent Development for over two decades. He and his team have designed leadership development\, team building\, change management and team building facilitations while Jim has personally delivered over 1\,300 professional development workshops. Jim loves being a part of the Providers’ Council community. He enjoys being in a training room (actual or virtual) with so many kind\, thoughtful caregivers. Jim says\, “Leading workshops with Providers’ Council members and friends is rewarding knowing I am enabling those who are enabling others; that is a good feeling.” Jim has one goal\, to help you be your best!
