DESCRIPTION:Date and Time: May 5; 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. \nLocation: Online via Zoom \nIntended Audience: Financial Staff\, Facilities/Operations\, Executive Teams \nLearning Track: Finance & Sustainability \nThe SUN Program is back!☀️ \nIn 2025\, the Solar Upgrading Nonprofits (SUN) Program\, a partnership between the Providers’ Council and Resonant Energy\, helped 18 human service providers explore solar through no-cost feasibility assessments and grant funding. Organizations moving forward with solar will save 70 to 100 percent of their annual electricity costs for a total of $10 million dollars in expected lifetime savings. \nThe SUN program supports nonprofit human service providers across Massachusetts as they explore solar as a means of reducing their operating costs and contributing to a clean environment for their constituents. Many organizations have expressed strong interest in solar but lack the internal capacity and expertise to pursue feasibility assessments and projects.
