This webinar provides an accessible overview of the current state of AI in helping professions\, including its evolution\, common tools\, and current uses across social service settings. \nParticipants will examine both the promise and potential pitfalls of AI\, including concerns related to bias\, inaccurate information\, privacy and confidentiality\, ethical decision-making\, and AI alignment\, alongside practical applications that can enhance efficiency\, creativity\, and ethical practice. \nParticipants will be introduced to Dr. Magruder’s PAUSE framework\, a practical approach for critically evaluating the use of AI in professional settings.
