SUMMARY:Success as a New Supervisor - Spring 2023 (SOLD OUT)
DESCRIPTION:Strong leaders take initiative\, think strategically\, empower others and set and carry out a vision. The supervisor\, in particular\, plays a key role in the success of any organization. Attendees will explore and define many of the competencies required of those who serve in the role of supervisor. This training is for current and newly promoted supervisors but is also helpful to those considering stepping up to a supervisory position. \nThis is a hybrid\, two session training. Both sessions will be from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nDay I will meet in person in Framingham\, at the Providers’ Council Training Center on Tuesday\, March 14.\nDay II will meet online via Zoom on Tuesday\, March 21. \nPlease reach out to Nina Walat to be notified when this training will be held again.\n  \nIn this session\, participants will: \n· Learn what skills are required of today’s leaders; \n· Learn how leadership is different from management; \n· Practice the core skills needed for new supervisors; and \n· Understand how to increase staff engagement and competence. \n  \nPresented by: \nAbout Jim Ognibene\, M.Ed: \nJim is a People Enabler\, Workshop Leader\, Career Coach\, Facilitator\, Learning Catalyst\, and Consultant.
