Every year, Providers’ Council members nominate their fellow members to receive a Peer Provider Award, one of the most prestigious awards presented by the Council. The Council will soon open nominations for the 2022 Peer Provider Awards, which will be presented at the Annual Convention & Expo, Celebrate Our Strength, which will take place at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston on Monday, October 3, 2022.
The awards are given to Providers’ Council member agencies that have had extraordinary accomplishments over the prior year and/or have stood out in serving clients and consumers.
Some agency accomplishments may include:
- Creating a new program or service;
- Securing landmark public policy victories;
- Helping clients achieve exceptional accomplishments;
- Having successes in the community; and/or
- Engaging in leadership activities in the sector.
Please share the victories and achievements of your colleagues and nominating an agency for a Peer Provider Award. You can view our PDF nomination form and a list of past winners here. The Council encourages nominations for organizations that have not received the award in the past.

Award-winning journalist Vanessa Welch — the co-anchor of the Boston 25 News at 5:00, 6:00, 10:00 and 11:00 — will return once again to host the annual awards presentation, leading each award recipient in a conversation about their organization and its accomplishments over the last year.
