This beautiful site has been developed as a state of the art residential home for individuals with developmental disabilities. Located in the scenic hills of Worcester, MA, the multi-unit site overlooks farmland and rolling hills. Interior Resources provided all the furnishings to give each home a unique style. With valuable client input, these homes achieved a warm, inviting environment for the residents.

New York Hospital/White Plains is a multifaceted healthcare facility. Serving the needs of longer term psychiatric patients requires that the hospital strive for a more residential approach to the furnishings. Interior Resources has helped to achieve that goal by customizing many different aspects of the furniture. Breakaway clothes rods and full length hinges fulfill some of the safety concerns. Laminate tops and sealed finishes provide the necessary hygienic features that allow this hospital to operate more like a residential facility.

PROJECT PROFILE RFK CHILDREN’S ACTION CORP LANCASTER, MA
This specialized educational facility located in central Massachusetts, has some very unique needs. Space is very limited in the resident rooms. So, Interior Resources designed a custom bed with drawers and an extremely durable desk. Each wing of the residential facility has been designed with its own color palette. The study lounge and student lounge fabrics and finishes were coordinated to complete the look. The result is an appealing and practical building that will withstand the rugged use.

Northcore Studios are comprised of 56 studio apartments. Designed to serve the needs of formally homeless residents, the facility includes a community dining area, activity room, lounge and library. Each apartment also has its own kitchen and dining area. The furnishings here have to be very durable. The addition of comforters, window valances, and non-breakable lamps, helps to achieve a more residential look.
