On Thursday, December 3, the Providers' Council along with The Home for Little Wanderers will hold Compliance and Ethics: A Valuable Partnership in Social Services. To take part in this exciting training opportunity, register online today!
In this training you will learn:
• Mandated reporting—When are you required to report suspected abuse and neglect, and to whom?
• Confidentiality--HIPAA/ Massachusetts Privacy Laws: What’s the difference and why do you need to know?
• Boundaries- Maintaining boundaries, and the risks involved when you step over them
• Social media- The pros and cons of how it’s changed the work that you do.
The training will be presented by Heidi Ferreira, J.D., Vice President of Risk Management, Evaluation, and Outcomes and LaToya Staine-Carriker, Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Associate, both from The Home for Little Wanderers
