UFR filing extension available, but you have to apply
Providers are reminded that if you are planning to utilize the deadline extension to file 2017 UFRs, you must apply for the extension through the Operational Services Division’s eFILING system and be approved.
OSD recently granted a request from the Providers' Council on behalf of members for an extension of the filing of the 2017 Uniform Financial Statement and Independent Auditor's Report (UFR) because of the delayed availability of the POS Expenditure and Federal Funds Listing Reports for 2017 from the state.
OSD granted a 30-day extension, until Dec. 15, 2017, for agencies affected by the delay of the Federal Funds List for completing their annual UFR.
In its response to the Council request, OSD noted that all agencies have to apply for the extension through the OSD eFILING system to be approved, as not all UFR users were affected. Only requests uploaded to OSD eFILING will be considered and/or approved.
If you have questions about the UFR deadline, please email Bill Yelenak.
