Scholarships available for graduate students; deadline 6/17
Two scholarship opportunities are available to employees of Providers’ Council members pursuing a graduate degree during the 2016-17 academic year. Students can be currently enrolled in a master’s program or entering a graduate program this fall.
Applications are being accepted through Friday, June 17th for both the $10,000 Providers’ Council Graduate Leadership Scholarship and the $4,000 Providers’ Council/Suffolk University Master of Public Administration Scholarship.
This is the third straight year the Council is offering a $10,000 Graduate Leadership Scholarship to support the promotion and development of the human service sector's workforce. This one-time award may be applied to any accredited master's program in Massachusetts, provided the applicant’s personal statement demonstrates how the program is clearly related to their future contributions to the human services sector. Complete information and the application may be accessed here.
The $4,000 Providers' Council/Suffolk University Master of Public Administration Scholarship will be awarded based on leadership, merit and need to a Council member employee entering or currently enrolled in Suffolk University's MPA program. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed the Council's Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management Program. Complete details and application available here.
