Take salary, benefits survey by Dec. 14; help build useful tool
The Providers’ Council has partnered with Third Sector New England for the 2017 Valuing Our Nonprofit Workforce compensation and benefits survey, which is being conducted by TSNE online through Dec. 14. The final report will help identify best practices and analyze new trends in pay and benefits in the region's sector.
This is the third such study from TSNE. Its 2010 and 2014 reports, along with an online searchable database are currently available as a free tool for nonprofit managers, board members and employees.
Council members are encouraged to take the survey, which collects salary and benefits data from nonprofits throughout southern New England but draws the most responses from Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The study results will be published in a June 2017 report detailing salary data by area, budget size, field of service and job description. It will also collect information about health insurance, retirement funds, leave and sick time and other benefits provided to employees.
