Support Providers’ Council Endorsed Business Partner, and fellow nonprofit, MassEnergy!
Endorsed Business Partner and fellow nonprofit MassEnergy is participating in The Boston Foundation's Giving Common Challenge on October 10-11. During the challenge, donors can make gifts to participating nonprofit organizations through a donation page on the Giving Common Challenge website. The Giving Common will collect donations and award prizes to the nonprofits that collect the most donors or raise the most money. First prize awards, given to the organization with the most numerous different donors and to the organization that raises the most money, are $25,000.
Donations to MassEnergy during this challenge will go towards its Emergency Oil Bank to benefit families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that, after using their fuel assistance benefit, are still in need of oil deliveries.
About the Emergency Oil Bank: MassEnergy opened its remarkable Emergency Oil Bank in Massachusetts in 1989 to provide free heating oil deliveries to families faced with choosing between heating and eating. Last winter, the Oil Bank helped keep 203 families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island warm. This is an important winter resource for service providers across the state; call 800-287-3950 to learn more.
