Deadline Extended! Submit a proposal for a convention workshop by May 13!
The deadline for submitting workshop proposals for the Providers' Council's 41st Annual Convention & Expo: Inspire | Ignite | Impact, has been extended to Friday, May 13th.
Do you have a workshop or presentation that would benefit executives, direct care staff, financial managers, HR directors, program managers, board members or others in the human service provider sector?
Present your ideas at the Council's 41st Annual Convention & Expo on October 24, 2016 at the Marriott Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, an event that attracted nearly 1,300 individuals from the human service sector in 2015.
The convention provides wide exposure to the Massachusetts human service community with attendees ranging from program staff to executive directors/CEOs, as well as finance and HR staff.
Your workshops will be listed in our registration brochure, sent to thousands of human services employees and posted on our website. Descriptions are also listed in the convention program booklet received by all attendees. Presenters receive complimentary admittance to the entire Convention & Expo, including lunch and limited reimbursement for copying expenses. Each 90-minute workshop has 20 to 75 attendees, but attendance may vary.
The Council is seeking presentations on a diverse range of topics relevant to the field of human services, from worker safety to positive behavioral supports to healthcare reform.
If you would like to share your professional knowledge and expertise with this diverse audience, please complete the proposal form online or download and send by mail or email no later than Friday, May 13, 2016. The information requested on the application is needed for CEU applications and convention registration materials. All applicants will be notified about the status of their proposals on or before June 10.
