Spring Supervision Series registration open
The spring session of the Providers' Council's popular, six-week Certificate in Supervision Series will take place Thursday mornings in Dorchester beginning April 19th.
Nearly 500 supervisors have completed this popular series, which brings together the knowledge of experienced trainers to address the challenges and expectations that supervisors face today. As the link between leadership and staff, it is critical to an organization that supervisors be able to demonstrate effective supervisory techniques.
The Spring Supervision Series meets from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at WORK Inc., 25 Beach St., Dorchester, on the following Thursdays:
April 19th- Session I: Communications & Leadership
May 3rd- Session II: Situational Leadership
May 17th- Session III: Conflict Management
May 31st- Session IV: Team Building
June 7th- Session V: Performance Management
June 14th- Session VI: Group Planning and Decision Making
The trainers scheduled for this session are Penny Harrington, Casey Hall Training Associates (Session I); Virginia Maglio, Optimum Development (Sessions II, III, IV, VI); and Comma Williams, Comma Williams Enterprises (Session V).
