Are you looking for a way to stregthen your supervision skills this fall? Look no further. The Providers' Council brings their popular certificate in supervision series to Worcester this fall and we want you to be a part of it.
Being a supervisor is one of the most challenging roles in today's workplace. As the link between leadership and staff, standards of excellence are transmitted by supervisors. And when faced with greater expectations and increasing challenges, it is critical that supervisors be able to demonstrate effective supervisory techniques. This series brings together the knowledge of experienced trainers to address the challenges that supervisors face today. Since the start of the program in 2007, more than 400 supervisors have completed the series.
Participants register for all six trainings in the series, and will receive a certificate when they successfully attend all six sessions. Key topics covered are:
- Communication and Leadership
- Situational Leadership
- Conflict Management
- Team Building
- Performance Management
- Group Planning and Decision Making
The meeting dates in Worcester for fall 2014 are Thursdays: September 25; October 9, 16, & 30; November 13; December 18. Each session meets from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
