Senate budget due out Wednesday, 5/16!

The Senate Ways & Means Committee is expected to release its FY '13 budget proposal on May 16 around mid-day. Council members can expect an e-mail from the Providers' Council with any breaking news and anyone can check the Council website for updates.

We are hoping the Senate includes a Salary Reserve for low-paid human services workers after 24 senators signed Senator Karen Spilka's letter to Senate leadership, asking the Senate to include a $28 million Salary Reserve in the budget. You can download Senator Spilka's letter to leadership here.
