New trainings address employee retention, compliance and ethics
The Providers' Council has added two more professional development opportunities to the fall trainings schedule.
The Intention is Retention, led by popular trainer John Howard of Youth Villages, tackles one of the hottest issues and biggest challenges in the human services workforce: employee retention.
In this workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Foxborough, Howard illuminates the important link between employee retention and employee engagement, and looks at how high engagement can drive gains in productivity as well as increase retention.
Compliance and Ethics: A Valuable Partnership in Social Services addresses how compliance and ethics go hand in hand to strengthen your organization. Among the topics covered in this training are mandated reporting, confidentiality (HIPAA/state privacy laws); boundaries and social media. The session will be led by Heidi Ferreira, vice president of risk management, evaluation and outcomes at The Home for Little Wanderers on Tuesday, Dec. 12, in Worcester.
Applications for CEUs have been submitted for both of these trainings.
