Membership renewals for 2017 are due
As the clock winds down on 2016, the Council thanks our members for your continued support throughout the year and reminds you that membership renewals for 2017 are due.
Through your action and advocacy in 2016, we were able to:
- Work with the Baker Administration on Chapter 257 implementation, resulting in rate increases and additional funding for the human services sector;
- Defend your tax-exempt status on the local and federal level, including securing a gubernatorial veto on a potentially dangerous piece of legislation;
- Help more than 25,000 human service employees further their education and career goals through our trainings, workshops, Certificate Programs, Tuition Remission and Providers’ eAcademy; and
- Secure revision of the Surplus Revenue Retention regulation, eliminating the lifetime 20 percent cap to allow your organization to retain more of its assets.
Your membership also includes access to a number of other benefits, including our Delta Dental program and other group purchasing opportunities.
Your Council membership operates on a calendar year schedule, so your 2016 membership expires December 31. Please complete your renewal by January 16, 2017 to ensure that your member benefits continue without interruption.
