Council seeks summer interns to help advance human services
The Providers’ Council is now accepting applications for two interns to focus on exciting communications and research projects directly associated with the human services sector and the current and future needs of our 164,000-person workforce.
The available positions are Communications Intern and Workforce Research Intern. These are paid positions and successful applicants will be expected to work no less than three days per week for 24 hours each week during the nine-week internship (June 5 through Aug. 4, 2017).
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to creating and distributing surveys to Council members and external audiences; testing messaging and devising data-informed action plans; researching and analyzing data; and providing ideas and input to the Council and members for improving job descriptions and successful social media engagement.
Interns will report directly to the Vice President of Public Policy & Development and work closely with the Council’s Public Policy & Communications Associate. They will work on independent and collaborative project with the Council’s staff and member agencies.
