Council offers two informational webinars on Certificate Program
The Providers' Council is currently accepting applications for its year-long, graduate-level Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management program, held in partnership with Clark University in Worcester and Suffolk University in Boston.
The program, which begins in the fall and runs through June 2018, features six mandatory blocks. Classes meet once a week from 9 a.m. to 4 or 4:30 p.m., on Wednesdays at Clark and on Fridays at Suffolk.
Two informational webinars about these programs, with a university representative and Providers' Council staff, have been scheduled for the following dates:
- March 8 at 11 a.m., with Mary Piecewicz from Clark University
- March 15 at 11 a.m., with Stephanie Carlson-Flynn of Suffolk University
Registration required. The webinars will feature a short presentation and include time for Q&A about the program and the application process. Both webinars are open to candidates interested in either program.
The curriculum of the Certificate Program is designed for mid-career human services professionals to build skills and knowledge in key areas. Classes include Nonprofit Human Service Management, Financial Management, Program and Policy Evaluation, Human Resources Management, Legal and Ethical Issues for Nonprofits and Alternative Revenue Strategies for Nonprofits.
