Council member benefits include exclusive, free webinars

Providers’ Council members have exclusive access to a variety of free webinars coming up in the next several weeks.

On Thursday, May 18, executives and finance professionals can learn how to save money and ensure compliance during a webinar with Unemployment Tax Management Corp. Vice President Paul Scott. During the 90-minute session, Understanding the Mass. Unemployment System, Scott will cover issues with proper documentation; two financing methods available to nonprofits; explain the claims and appeal processes; and more. There will also be time for your questions on this complex topic. Information and registration is available here. UTMC is a Providers’ Council Endorsed Business Partner.

Got student loans? The Council will host two free informational webinars for members with American Student Assistance’s Betsy Mayotte on the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. This is an online version of a recent sold-out roundtable with Mayotte, the Director of Consumer Outreach and Compliance for ASA. She will explain the program and how it works; how to maintain eligibility for the program; and other student loan options and opportunities for loan relief during the 60-minute sessions. Two sessions are scheduled, both begin at 1 p.m. Click on the date to register for that session: Tuesday, May 23 or Tuesday, June 6

Are you looking to boost your organizational culture? Associate Member Firespring will lead Creating a Vibrant Culture in Your Nonprofit on Thursday, June 1 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. exclusively for Providers’ Council members. Founder and lifelone entrepreneur Jay Wilkinson will share examples of how having a healthy, vibrant culture can help organizations attract and retain employees during this free session. You can learn more and register here.
