Certificate program survey for western Mass. agencies
The Providers’ Council, in partnership with Clark University’s Master's in Public Administration Capstone students, is conducting a short survey to determine the interest of Providers’ Council member and non-member organizations in enrolling staff in the graduate-level Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management Program if it should it be offered in western Massachusetts in Springfield or Holyoke.
Established in 2002 and currently offered at Suffolk University in Boston and Clark University in Worcester, nearly 500 future leaders have gone through the graduate-level certificate program.
If there is enough interest to offer a western Mass. location, the program would run in the same format as the Suffolk and Clark programs, being held from September to June and including six blocks of classes in key subject areas. Agencies sponsoring employees’ participation in the program commit to paying the agency application fee and employees’ tuition, giving enrolled employees paid time off to attend classes and adjusting work requirements as necessary.
We count on the feedback of Council members and non-members located west of Worcester to see if there is enough interest and need to create this additional location for the program. Please complete this brief feasibility survey by Friday, March 24th at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, feedback, or want more information email Ella Froggatt or call her at 617.428.3637 x126.
Applications are now available for the 2017-18 Certificate Program that begins this at both Clark and Suffolk universities.
