Being a supervisor is one of the most challenging roles in today's workplace. As the link between leadership and staff, standards of excellence are transmitted by supervisors. And when faced with greater expectations and increasing challenges, it is critical that supervisors be able to demonstrate effective supervisory techniques. This series brings together the knowledge of experienced trainers to address the challenges that supervisors face today.
Participants register for all six trainings in the series, and will receive a certificate when they successfully attend all six sessions. Key topics covered are:
- Communication and Leadership
- Situational Leadership
- Conflict Management
- Team Building
- Performance Management
- Group Planning and Decision Making
The meeting dates in Spring 2015 are Fridays: April 3 & 17, May 1, 15 & 29, & June 12. Each session meets from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
