Applications are being accepted for the 2015-16 programs at Suffolk University in Boston and at Clark University in Worcester that begin in September. This graduate-level program is designed for mid-career human service employees who seek to strengthen their management skills and learn in specialized, sector-specific classes with peers from other human service agencies.
Certificate program classes meet once a week, on Wednesdays at Clark and on Fridays at Suffolk, from 9 a.m. to 4 or 4:30 p.m.
The program includes classes on:
• Nonprofit Human Service Management
• Financial Management
• Program and Policy Evaluation
• Human Resources Management
• Legal & Ethical Issues for Nonprofits
• Alternative Revenue Strategies for Nonprofits
• Social Entrepreneurship and Fundraising and Grant writing
In addition, the program offers students a unique opportunity to grow their network of peers and connecting them with other human services managers and leaders to support the sharing of ideas.
An information session for Clark University was held earlier in the year. If you have any question specific to the Clark University program, please contact Liz Woodbury.
