Deadline extended for Peer Provider Award nominations!

Providers' Council members are invited to nominate a fellow human service agency for its exemplary achievements and honor them with a Peer Provider Award in front of more than 1,000 attendees at the Providers’ Council’s 38th Annual Convention & Expo, Champions for Change, on November 6 at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston.

Each of the states has filed a blueprint for creating a Health Insurance Marketplace (formerly known as the American Health Benefit Exchanges). These Exchanges are projected to be operational on January 1, 2014. Under the regulations, a large employer's potential Shared Responsibility Penalty may be avoided, or postponed, for some group health plans. We expect to continue to be inundated with new guidance and regulations in the coming months as the commencement of State Exchanges nears.
