Due to the move, we will be closed for business on Friday, Sept. 15, but will do our best to respond to any inquiries we receive at our earliest convenience. Conference Committee budget contains $20m Salary Reserve!

The Conference Committee charged with negotiating the differences between the House and Senate budget proposals just reported out its compromise budget, it includes a $20 million annualized Salary Reserve!

Board members support Salary Reserve in letter to House Speaker

Nearly 170 board members of community-based human services organizations sent a letter to House Speaker Robert DeLeo on Monday afternoon, asking him to agree with a portion of the Senate's budget proposal that would create a $20 million Salary Reserve fund for low-paid workers.

The Providers' Council commissioned a report on Trends in the Human Service Landscape that will be released in the coming weeks. The report, completed by Public Consulting Group, discusses many of the major trends in the human services sector, including an increase in participant-directed care (also known as consumer-centric care or self-directed care) models and a rise in accountable care organizations. Two-page summaries on these two report highlights are now available.
