Position Description
CHD’s Adult Mental Health program is seeking a Program Manager to provide day-to-day oversight and management of the S.T.A.R. Psychiatric Day Treatment Program, a growing community-based program serving adults who are recovering from the effects of serious mental illness. Leading a multidisciplinary team consisting of 8 full-time and 2 part-time staff, the Program Manager provides a combination of treatment, rehabilitative and recovery-oriented services. He/she implements and monitors the program budget; oversees clinical documentation and the utilization of an Electronic Health Record system; provides clinical supervision of staff; conducts program development; and serves as a liaison to external providers and the community at-large. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or a related field with at least 5 years of experience of which 2 years is in a supervisory/leadership capacity; independent clinical license in Massachusetts (prefer L.I.C.S.W., L.M.H.C. or OTR/L); demonstrated experience with supervision of multidisciplinary teams; and demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric day treatment services and evidence-based models.
