Join the Providers’ Council for a free, members-only webinar, Paid Family and Medical Leave Law Information Session, facilitated by Director of the Department of Family and Medical Leave, William Alpine. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at 10 a.m.
The newly created Paid Family and Medical Leave Law (PFML), overseen and administered by the Department of Family and Medical Leave, will allow employees in Massachusetts to take family and medical leave beginning in 2021. Contributions, however, begin as early as July 1, 2019 posing many questions for employers throughout the Commonwealth.
This free, members-only webinar will provide a more in-depth look into the paid leave program from William Alpine, Director of the Department of Family and Medical Leave. Topics to be discussed include the timing of PFML, how employers of different sizes are affected the cost breakdown for employers and employees, law definitions, and the impact on the employee’s employment-related health insurance benefits. There will be time for a Q&A following the presentation.
