Assistant Vice President of Employment Services / Seven Hills Family Services
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team to help set the direction and future for Seven Hills Family Services Employment and CBDS Programs. Working with an experienced, professional team, the AVP will be responsible for the overall operations of employment support programs for persons with developmental disabilities. Implementing supports using the Employment First National Model the AVP will ensure a wide array of options based on individual choice and interest. In addition, the AVP will oversee the implementation of the SHFS Community Based Day Supports programs in Worcester and Milford. The AVP will share the vision that learning is a life-long process that is creative and filled with interesting choices.
Qualifications
This position requires a Master’s Degree and at least 3 years experience in the management of large programs. A Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years may be substituted for the Master’s degree requirement. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in program operations, Employment First, post-secondary program development for persons with disabilities; will be self initiating and be able to work independently and be an integral member of the SHFS management team.
