Employee retention is a challenge across the nonprofit world, including in human services. In this workshop we will review the main drivers and impact of high staffing turnover, then turn our attention to what can be done to intentionally improve retention. You will be able to start a plan for increasing retention of the kind of employees you really need.
This training takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th at Vinfen in Somerville.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
In this workshop you will:
- Identify and explore the main drivers and impact of retention problems;
- Review case studies and research on ways to increase retention;
- Begin a plan for how to improve retention at your human service organization.
